Please join us for our Winter Market, enjoy some cider, listen to some music and support our wonderful co-operative preschool. Pre-order or drop by the day off. We look forward to seeing all our alumni!

Please join us for our annual community Spring Scavenger Hunt at the 'Rez' (Highland Gardens Park).  Rain or shine, it's always great fun and a wonderful chance to connect with neighbours and friends.  Highlights this year include:

Please make sure to save the date and organize a babysitter for our parents night out fundraiser:
When: Saturday February 24th Where: Melrose Church (on Locke St). 
Time: To be confirmed, but we are aiming for 8pm-12am for the event.

Join us Easter weekend from 10 am to noon for our family Easter Scavenger Hunt! This year we are proudly partnering with the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Association . It is being held at Highland Gardens Park (The Rez) which is located at the south end of Mountain Avenue at Hillcrest Avenue in Hamilton. Hope to see you there!

• WHO? Anyone from the neighbourhood and their family and friends
• WHERE? The Res (Highland Garden Park)  at the intersection of Hillcrest Ave & Mountain Ave 

Our second largest fundraiser is the annual Mother Goose Easter Egg Hunt at the “Res.” This much loved community event attracts close to 1000 people, and even includes an appearance by the Easter Bunny, too!

We are grateful to the individuals and businesses that donate items to these events as well as the Mother Goose families who pull together to make these fundraisers a tremendous success.

I wanted to let you know about a free family-friendly event happening at the Central branch of the Hamilton Public Library this Saturday afternoon from 2:00-4:00.
 
My new picture book, Mama's Day with Little Gray, is releasing from Random House. In celebration, there will be a free concert by recording artist and music instructor Martha Krueger. There will also be elephant crafts, elephant tattoos, and an author reading and signing.
